Valentina first met Ricardo while visiting her parents in Venezuela. There, the self-confessed football lovers enjoyed a whirlwind two-month romance before Valentina returned to the UK.<\/p>\n

After only knowing each other for five months, Ricardo proposed to Valentina when the pair met again in Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n

Not wasting any time, the couple, aged 24 and 26 respectively, hosted their elegant indoor wedding just a year after their first meeting.\u00a0100 guests joined the September 22, 2018 festivities held at Maremares Hotel in Lecheria, Venezuela.<\/p>\n

After the wedding, Valentina and Ricardo held two post-wedding photoshoots that captured who they are as a couple.<\/p>\n

In the first photoshoot the football lovers, dressed to the nines in their wedding finery, played in a local football stadium while photographer Joan Rivero captured the moment. Then later, the pair visited one of their hometown beaches at 6am to pose with the sun as it rose.<\/p>\n
