{"id":208299,"date":"2016-11-30T11:30:26","date_gmt":"2016-11-30T00:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/uk\/real-weddings\/poetic-proposal-leads-sarah-jane-lees-castle-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-17T11:08:52","modified_gmt":"2022-03-17T00:08:52","slug":"poetic-proposal-leads-sarah-jane-lees-castle-wedding","status":"publish","type":"uk-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/real-weddings\/poetic-proposal-leads-sarah-jane-lees-castle-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Poetic proposal leads to Sarah-Jane and Lee&#8217;s castle wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">A show-stopper proposal paved the way for Sarah-Jane Wall and Lee Eslamifar&#8217;s picture-perfect castle wedding.<\/p>\n<p>The Romford, Essex couple met online in 2012 after both coming out of rocky long-term relationships.\u00a0&#8220;In June 2015, Lee wrote a series of clues, hidden within poems, that led me from our flat in Romford, to Chancery Lane Station where we first kissed, to the bar we had our first date and then finally to the place he claims to have fallen in love with me &#8211; a restaurant in South Quay,&#8221; Sarah-Jane, 35, recalls.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Spread across the four envelopes which held the clues were 100 reasons why he thinks I\u2019m the &#8216;bestest&#8217;. When I arrived at the restaurant he presented me with a box which had a sticker on it &#8211; #100 She Agreed to Marry Me. Inside was a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/WeddingJewellery\/\">ring<\/a> he had designed for me which was stunning. It was an absolutely incredible day.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Within two days of proposing, Sarah-Jane and Lee, 34, discovered <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/WeddingVenues\/Essex\/HedingHamcastleAndGarden\/\">Hedingham Castle<\/a> in Braintree and &#8220;absolutely fell in love&#8221;.\u00a0They planned their castle wedding for their three-year anniversary on March 13, 2016, marrying in front of 36 friends and family and 18 guests taking part in the evening celebrations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For nine months, I literally crafted and designed details for our wedding every night after work and loved every single minute of it,&#8221; Sarah-Jane says.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When the day finally came it was everything we dreamed it would be. Lee and his best man were vehemently against public speaking and, having lost their mum 18 months before, knew a speech would be really hard. So Lee created the most touching, hilarious, creative video speech &#8211; he had everyone in stitches.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The bride says there is nothing major she would change about the special day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I would hope that everyone feels this way about their own wedding but it was quite literally, the best day of my life &#8211;
