‘Bestest’ bride Sarah-Jane and her groom Lee have taken out the ‘bestest’ wedding in our November Wedding of the Year competition.
Congratulations!
The Essex couple met online and before long Lee was planning the ultimate proposal – a treasure hunt weaving Sarah-Jane through the starring locations of their relationship.
“Spread across four envelopes that held the clues were 100 reasons why he thinks I’m the ‘bestest’,” recalls the bride. “When I arrived at the restaurant he presented me with a box which had a sticker on it – Number 100: She Agreed to Marry Me.”
Their wedding on their three-year anniversary, March 13, 2016, was held at Hedingham Castle in Braintree and included an intimate 36 guests followed by 18 more for the evening celebrations.
Sarah-Jane and Lee have taken out the eleventh spot in our 2016 Wedding of the Year competition. They are through to the final stage of voting which kicks off February 1, 2017 and could see them soaking in the sun and fun on a Barbados (second) honeymoon at The Crane flying British Airways.
