Danelle and Donovan kept things simple at their elegant romantic wedding in Lanseria, Pretoria South Africa.
The couple, aged 23 and 27 respectively, wed on April 14, 2018 with 70 guests by their side. “Our priorities on planning the wedding was to keep is simple and classy,” explains Danelle. “We wanted our guests to have a lot of fun and to have just the best, so the food and music was very important to us to keep them entertained.”
It’s a wedding that wouldn’t happened without an engagement, however, and that almost didn’t occur when an injury sent Donovan’s plans into a tail-spin! “The day he proposed I almost messed it up completely. He wanted to ask me on top of Lions Head in Cape Town but I could not make it to the top so we went to see the penguins and I fell in the sea water and hurt my leg,” recalls Danelle. “We just decided to go home and when he stopped at Chapmans Peak where he got down on one knee and could finally ask me!”

The bride and her crew had pre-wedding T-shirts to wear that morning.
“Clean, white décor reflected the couple’s simple personal style. “We stuck to a white décor these with a dash of pink from the protea flower,” the bride says.
“I ot a gown from my mother in-law’s wedding boutique and made the dress my own,” says the bride.
“We wanted a timeless wedding and I believe that’s what we got,” says Danelle.
