The elegant pairing of silver and blue was the inspiration behind this picture-perfect styled shoot.
Lesley Notton, of Notton House Photography, put together the blue and silver styled shoot that is sure to encourage every bride-to-be to add the classic hues to their own big day.
Lesley, who has specialised in wedding photography for four years, chose a unique location just outside London for the shoot.
“As soon as I saw Raven’s Ait Island in Kingston, I knew I had to photograph there! Who would have thought there was a gorgeous little island in the middle of the River Thames?” she says.
“The blue, and the sunlight as it ripples across the river, gives a beautiful magical sparkle.”
It was this blue and silver shimmering water that provided Lesley with the idea for the colour scheme.
The team at Alegrar Events helped set the scene and together they created a wedding design of understated elegance in the two statement shades.
“The venue has a gorgeous big marquee which is perfect for large weddings and looked amazing once we decorated it,” Lesley says.
“Ravens Ait also has a lovely front lawn which was perfect for couples and group portraits, as well as the majestic stone steps leading up to the front of the building.”
Laura Ritchie Designs mocked up the elegant invitations – with a touch of silver sparkle – and the colour theme continued with the bride’s blue flower crown, silver-belted wedding gown and the groom’s classic navy suit.
