It took three months of chasing for David Baron to get a first date with Louise Hill.
The attraction was instant when the pair first met at the Baron family’s Christmas, but Louise kept her future husband guessing.
“Dave had to chase me for three months first of all but it wasn’t long until we moved in together and start planning for the ‘I dos’,” Louise, 25, says.
The Newcastle couple made it official at their vintage wedding at As You Like It, Jesmond, on January 23, 2016 in front of 100 guests.
Louise and David, 30, did all the planning and much of the styling for the big day themselves, including the flowers and wedding favours.
“From start to finish we laughed, loved and lived every second to the fullest,” Louise says.
“To see all of the little plans come together just made the day even more perfect. The day was really relaxed with endless laughs.”
The couple are already planning their next adventure – a new life in Australia in coming years.

David and his groomsmen looked sharp in suits from Burton Men’s Wear.
A B Wedding Cars supplied vintage wheels for the big day. “Affordable and beautiful cars,” Louise says.
Louise had her wedding dress custom made and teamed it with a vintage headpiece that David’s grandmother wore on her own wedding. “My dressmaker carefully worked on the headpiece and gave it a new lease of life, it has now become a bit of a family heirloom,” the bride says.
“We were the last there and at the end of the night and continued to dance the night away together. Just the two of us,” Louise says.
