The coastal wedding of Brooke Winn-Williams and Jordan Walker was all about the venue.
The Queensland pair were married on October 12, 2013 with their 100 guests at a location Brooke describes as “rare and stunning”. Harrigan’s Drift Inn is located at Jacob’s Well, somewhere between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
“When I first arrived at Harrigans, before talking to anyone or trying any food, there was no doubt I had found the place,” recalls Brooke, 19. “Harrigan’s is very tranquil as it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the coast, but still with water views.”
Brooke’s princess-style strapless gown was purchased from Brides of Brisbane and her bridesmaids wore one-shoulder lilac dresses. Brooke and Jordan, 21, hit the sand dunes and beach for some gorgeous photos with their bridal party.
Careful planning ensured the day ran effortlessly. “On our wedding day everything went beyond smooth,” Brooke says. Her advice for other brides is to not worry about what others think. “Do what you want because at the end of the day, it’s your wedding day.”
Brooke had two flower girls on her wedding day dressed in tulle and satin.
Brooke says her day was special because she “got to marry my best friend”.
Bridesmaid dresses were purchased from Brides by the Bay.
