Following a romantic proposal during a surprise trip to Hastings, Kirsty and Rob wasted no time getting stuck into planning their romantic elegant wedding.
“We wanted the day to be a real representation of us,” says Kirsty, 35. “From engagement to wedding, it was all done in seven months.”
Kirsty and Rob, 36, put their personal stamp on venue Winters Barns in Canterbury, Kent, creating romantic ambience complete with candles, vases, lanterns, fairy lights and flowers.
On March 4, 2016, an unseasonably sunny day, Kirsty and Rob tied the knot with 80 family and friends in attendance.
Following the ceremony, guests were treated by caterer Scott Anderson to a hearty meal of Bangers and Mash – Kirsty and Rob’s personal favourite.
“We really enjoyed planning our wedding and there’s very little we’d change. I’d just love to be able to do it again.”
Luckily, the newlyweds have their wedding album by Miki Photography to remember their day.
“Our photos and video really are the most wonderful reminder of our wedding day. We will cherish them for a lifetime.”

Kirsty looked every bit the elegant bride in her fishtail custom gown created by Enzoani UK.
The pair knew right away Winters Barns was the perfect venue. “It had everything we wanted in one place. It was warm, romantic and inviting.”
