When Jennifer made the wish “Please let this be forever” at Trevi Fountain in Rome, she never suspected it would come true so quickly.
While holidaying in Rome, Russell planned to pop the question to his then-girlfriend of three years.
“Who would have thought the Trevi Fountain magic would have worked so quickly? That night, alone on the roof of our hotel with the lights of Rome surrounding us, Russ asked me to marry him. It was utterly perfect.”
It made sense to the lovers of travel, aged 28 and 35, to marry abroad surrounded by their closest family and friends.
“We wanted blue skies and everyone we loved to celebrate with us for as long as possible. In the end, the South of France ticked all our boxes,” says the bride.
The Poole couple jet off for France alongside 78 guests for the May 5, 2018 celebration held at Manoir De Longeveau. The wedding day kicked off with a sunny outdoor ceremony and came to a close in the early hours of the next morning after a reception filled with eating, laughing and dancing.
“How many people get to say their wedding was a three-day extravaganza in the country of love? It was a Fairy Tale.”
