Sitting opposite each other at work, Jade Osborn and Lee Hayes couldn’t help falling in love.
“We started as friends which led to a relationship a year or so later,” Jade, 26, explains.
Lee, 32, popped the question while the Corby, Northamptonshire, pair were holidaying in Italy. They then set about planning their elegant wedding.
The couple wed at their local church, Great Oakley, in the pouring rain.
“Our reception was at Barton Hall in Kettering, by which point we were all bathed in glorious sunshine!” Jade says.
The reception room was elegantly decorated and the live band kept the atmosphere festive.
“It was the union of two best friends, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The day was very relaxed and everyone was in a celebratory mood,” Jade says.

A friend’s vintage car provided the perfect wheels for the elegant wedding.
“We love that we are best friends and mummy and daddy to our little girl Lyla and two fluffy dogs Nala and Jasmine,” Jade says.
An impressive three-tier wedding cake dressed in navy blue was another elegant touch for Jade and Lee’s big day.
