Childhood sweethearts Melisa and Luke got engaged at the top of a ferris wheel and married in a baroque country house.
“Our priorities were the venue, photographer and entertainment. We are a very fun couple, so we wanted that to come across in the wedding,” says Melisa, 26. “We had casino tables, photobooths, sweet carts and more for the guests to enjoy themselves and have a good, relaxing time.”
They married at their modern purple wedding on March 3, 2019 with 120 guests at Dyrham Park, Barnet. Their photographer says, “Melisa and Luke [28] were great at interacting and being silly with each other it made for some gorgeous photos, showing their personalities.”
Of their photographers’ work, Melisa says they “were all that we could have wanted”. “They were friendly with all the guests, gave us helpful advice with everything about the wedding. Really captured the day and blended in as guests. Everyone had such nice things to say about them.”

“If you’re planning on losing weight before the wedding, don’t buy your dress until closer to the time. I had to have the dress altered three sizes smaller which changed the style of the dress although it was still beautiful,” says Melisa.
Melisa is a beauty therapist, and Luke a mechanical engineer.
“Beautiful venue, the package we received included all the food, DJ and many other things,” says Melisa.
“The whole day was full of smiles, everyone was having the best time and the time of their lives,” recalls the bride.
