Folks, we have the most exciting news.
This month, Easy Weddings kicks off our nationwide hunt for Australia’s wedding of the year.
Yes, we’re searching high and low for a wedding so lovely, so special and so inspiring, that it truly deserves to be called Australia’s best – and the victorious couple will find themselves jetting off to sunny Hawaii.
“We can’t say what the Wedding of the Year will be because we don’t know,’’ says Rebecca Crozier, Easy Weddings’ Real Weddings editor. “It may be stylish, creative and inspiring. It could be outrageously fun or it could be a simple wedding story that’s so unforgettable, it tugs at our heartstrings.
“What we do know is that the Easy Weddings Wedding of the Year will truly be special and have that je ne sais quoi!”
To be in the running, just submit the story of your wedding as well as your wedding photos on our Real Weddings blog. Each month, from the published stories, we’ll pick six nominees for the monthly competition.
Easy Weddings’ users will vote on who they think should pick up the awesome monthly prize of $500 from Aussie and two nights’ accommodation at an Australian Rydges Hotels & Resorts venue.
At the end of the year, the 12 monthly nominees will be in the running for the grand prize, a fabulous eight-day trip to Hawaii!
Winners will share in a prize pool worth more than $20,000, thanks to our friends at My Holiday Centre, Aussie, Rydges Hotels & Resorts.
“We can’t wait to see your wedding pictures and hear your stories,’’ says Rebecca. “Whether your wedding was big or small; formal or informal; cultural or just something absolutely out-of-the-box, you’re in the running.
“But the winning wedding, as voted by our community, will no doubt be the one that for whatever reason, sticks in our hearts and minds more than any other.”
