An Australian couple’s beach-side wedding shoot took an unexpected turn when a water bomber swooped down behind them to pick up water to fight the nearby Maddens Plains bushfires on Friday the 11th of December.
The dramatic scene unfolded right behind couple, Adam and Brodie-Lea Scot while they were having their wedding photos taken at Little Austi Beach, north of Wollongong in NSW.
The couple were so focused on their wedding that they were unaware of the bushfires that were smoldering just 15km north of them.
‘’We didn’t realise the fires were happening at the time and then suddenly heard the chopper,’’ Mrs Scott told local newspaper the Illawarra Mercury.
The couple will now look back on their wedding photos and be reminded of the intense event that occurred on the happiest day of their lives.
