We have had a few ups and downs with our wedding planning. One of the downs was having to find another wedding photographer.
Out of all the things we had to deal with – this sent both Craig and I into panic mode. We were five months out from the big day and we had found someone we both really loved! But the circumstances were out of anybody’s control so we weren’t resentful just sad!
Ironically wedding photography was something neither of us had placed much importance on – we were more concerned about the ceremony and reception food!
But we started the process of looking at photographers again, some I loved and Craig didn’t, some were amazing and very out of our budget. But as with all my wedding emergencies, I turned to the Pink Side of the force! Oops sorry guys looks like a bit of my inner geek is showing…
We spoke with Sally from Serendipity Image and the stars aligned! Craig and I both loved the work Sally and Julian create and their website is just breath taking. I have worked with Sally through Easy Weddings for as long as I have been here and is another one of my favourite suppliers.
They incredibly experienced in the industry and this shows in the awards they are winning each year! In 2011 they were awarded one of the top five Melbourne Wedding Photography Studios on WOMOW and won three awards from the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers.
Here are the pictures that won awards in the ISPWP Awards. It’s not hard to see why they won!
One of the things I love about them is that they have experience photographing weddings from a variety of different cultures and traditions from Hindu, Chinese, Greek to Orthodox Jewish. This was important to me especially as I wanted a Photographer that would capture the Indian elements of our wedding.
Sally and Julian are so flexible in working around our mish-mash wedding and I can’t wait to see the wedding albums and prints – they are stunning, even Craig was impressed! Now our wedding photos are something we are really looking forward to.
So if you’re still looking for a wedding photographer, check out their blog and have a chat to Sally and Julian – you won’t be disappointed!
