Marie, it’s your wedding and your wedding planner is there to help you plan your big day– within the constraints of your wishes, desires, tastes and personality.
It’s really quite simple, you’re the boss. While her expertise is no doubt valuable and, in many instances, will likely lead to some good decisions, the fact is, with something as personal as music, it really should be something you and your groom are comfortable with.
That said, taking the personalities out of it, ask yourself if the music is appropriate for the venue (AC/DC’s You Shook Me All Night Long may not be appropriate for a cathedral service) and whether or not your planner has a point!
