Wedding music is a fairly important component of any wedding – with the exception of the bride, groom and celebrant! We search for countless hours trying to find the perfect songs that represent who were are as a couple and what we want to convey to the guests.
I know I have changed my mind about the ceremony songs about as often as the Billboard charts are updated. And not even with popular songs, just songs I had forgotten about or hadn’t heard in a while. The reception music was a much simpler task – with the exception of the entrance, cake cutting and first dance songs, I was quite happy to leave the music in the very capable hands of Liam and Brendan at DJ Masters.
Scouring through pages of songs and personally selecting 5 hours of music just seemed to much like hard work! So we decided to leave it in the hands of the experts. Performing at over 300 functions a year , DJ Masters is certainly living up to its name of Melbourne’s Premium DJ Service. They are very close to their 1000th gig.
They have been amazingly helpful and very easy to talk to. I was a little unsure about the process and the guys at DJ Masters were always happy to offer suggestions and guide me through it all.
Having a chat with Brendan recently he gave me some insight into what they have been up to lately. I found out that they have been playing at some amazing venues like the Eureka Tower and the Palladium at Crown Casino. They have also performed with Colin Hay and Jon Stevens. One of their very talented DJ’s Emma was invited to host the Havana Brown CD launch this year!
They are also appearing at more expos, which will also give you a chance to see the DJ’s and their setup before the big day – most brides aren’t too taken with the idea of random couples gate crashing their wedding to scope out the DJ!
What I love about DJ Masters is that no event is too big or too small. Their service and professionalism is always guaranteed, and whether they are playing mood music for 30 guests at the back of a cafe or playing for 120 people at some of the Yarra Valleys gorgeous wineries and venues they are committed to making your wedding the perfect celebration.
