The Duke of Wellington’s daughter Lady Charlotte Wellesley has married her billionaire beau in a stylish Spanish church wedding, wearing a particularly striking designer gown.
Lady Charlotte, 25, married American-Colombian businessman Alejandro Santo Domingo, 39, at the Church of the Incarnation in Granada, Spain, in a traditional Catholic wedding ceremony in front of 200 guests. Lady Charlotte is the daughter of Princess Antonia of Prussia who is a relative of Queen Elizabeth.
The royal bride wore a custom-made wedding gown designed by luxury fashion designer Emilia Wickstead. The striking cream gown featured an off-the-shoulder lapel, with a large train and long sleeves. Contrasting with the thick fabric of her wedding dress, Lady Charlotte’s veil was made from a delicate and soft white tulle which featured elegant white spot detailing.
Lady Charlotte paired her glamorous gown with a sleek bun, gold drop-earrings and an unstructured bridal bouquet made of white flowers and flecked with soft greenery.
The Duchess of Cornwall attended the wedding sporting ream and pale yellow ruffled dress and a pearl necklace.
British singer James Blunt also attended the royal affair with his wife Sofia Wellelsey, who is Lady Charlotte’s cousin. Supermodel Eva Herzigova and the former King of Spain Juan Carlos I were also in attendance.
The reception took place at the bride’s father’s nearby 2,400-acre estate.
