Fifteen years ago, Lacey Butler’s mother lost her precious wedding ring. Understandably, she was distressed but, after turning her home upside down, she gave up and assumed it was either lost or stolen.
But, late last month Lacey’s father found the ring stashed away in an old wooden box – and he reunited his wife of 38 years with her beloved ring in the sweetest manner possible, he got down on one knee and proposed to her again.
And her reaction is absolutely wonderful.
“About 15 years ago my Mum lost a very important piece of jewelry, her wedding ring,” says Lacey on her YouTube channel.
“We searched the house high and low for months, and finally came to the conclusion that it was lost on a job site, or stolen. But on October 26th we learned the truth, it had been stashed away in a small wooden box of my dad just found.”
“We knew reuniting them was going to be emotional enough but Dad and I had to add a twist,” she adds. “See, here you go, my dad proposing to my Mum again after 38 years of marriage with my Mum and her apron, in the garage!”
Maybe she was a little dramatic, but hey, it’s her missing wedding ring!”
