A 40-year-old Melbourne man has been nabbed drink driving – on the way to his own wedding.
Police pulled the groom over early Sunday morning during a long-weekend blitz on Church Street in Richmond only to discover he was driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.104.
That’s more than twice the legal blood alcohol limit in Victoria.
Understandably, the man’s license was immediately cancelled (for 10 months) and he was fined $599.
