American singer Beyonce Knowles wore a white wedding dress to the 2016 Grammy Awards – and, naturally, she rocked it.
The Formation singer stepped on to the stage to present the Record of the Year award to Bruno Mars last night wearing one of Israeli designer Inbal Dror’s latest wedding gowns. Bey did not alter the sheer white number, and she paired her look with a sleek bun and dazzling Lorraine Schwartz earrings.
The intricate dress, creatively called Style 1610, is from the Inbal Dror 2016 Autumn collection and retails for a cool $18,248 ($US12,980). However, we’re sure price isn’t an issue for Queen Bee, as the Grammy award-winning songstress has an estimated net worth of $76.5 million ($US54.5) according to the Forbes list of The World’s Highest Paid Celebrities.
Whilst the Inbal Dror gown is quite detailed in design and features intricate lace patterns and long sleeves, Beyonce chose a more simple style for her actual wedding day back in 2008. However, only a few glimpses of Beyonce on her wedding day have been released, and we wish we could see more of the singers bridal look!
Beyonce doesn’t shy away from wearing crisp white – and neither does her family. For her sister Solange’s wedding Beyonce and her relatives wore angelic white outfits, and for Beyonce’s mum Tina’s wedding Beyonce and her family wore white too. Beyonce and her daughter Blue Ivy also recently wore white to what appeared to be a friend’s wedding in late 2015.
Only Beyonce could get away with wearing a wedding dress to anything but a wedding – and we love it…
