Believe it or not, this is the world’s most expensive wedding cake, allegedly valued at a whopping $51 million (£32.4 million).
Yep, guaranteed to blow even the biggest wedding budget, this fairly simple, eight-tier doughy delight is emblazoned with more than 4000 diamonds, skyrocketing its value well beyond the typical several-hundred-dollar mark into the millions.
The cake was created by British bakers Cake, as part of their display for the United Kingdom’s first gay wedding expo, the National Gay Wedding Show, next month.
The Chester-based bakers said they had to create something large but relatively simple in order to accommodate and show off the 4000+ diamonds.
Oh, and yes, the cake will be eaten after the show. Just try not to get anything stuck in your teeth!
