Getting married is a big deal – and so is receiving your PhD. So, with lots of friends and family converging on her Washington state home to witness the receiving of her doctorate in veterinary medicine, Cassie Dotts decided to make it a double celebration.
She wed her beau of several years, Ben Ho, on Friday and then graduated from Washington State University on Saturday – in her wedding gown, no less.
Cassie proudly donned her cap and gown, but underneath wore her simple and elegant strapless wedding gown, complete with diamente encrusted sash.
She says she decided to wear her wedding dress on her other big day so that her friends and family could see her as both a graduate and a newlywed.
Cassie and Ben met on dating site RSVP and plan to relocate to Cassie’s home town of Las Vegas where she intends to work as a vet.
