OVERVIEW

The Stables is set within the 120 acre grounds of Doncaster College's High Melton site, which itself nestles in the centre of the picturesque village of High Melton.

We are located five miles from Doncaster town centre and just a few miles from junction 37 of the A1. We have a high quality Restaurant, flexible Conference facilities, affordable Accommodation, and cater for all types of Weddings and Celebrations. The Stables is also the venue of choice for Funeral & Memoriam Teas where our careful planning, professionalism and unobtrusive service come as standard.

Over the past 15 years we have built up a formidable reputation as a respected wedding venue in South Yorkshire. Boasting the same core, close knit team throughout this time period, we have been the wedding venue of choice for over 100 bride and grooms in 2014.

The staff at The Stables were out of this world...lovely, friendly people who made sure our day was the best it could be! The day flowed perfectly, which was all down to the professionalism and commitment of the staff. Our cannapes, bbq and breakfast were all to a very high standard and tasted delicious! We had lots of comments in our guest book about how beautiful the venue was, and about how amazing the food was! A fantastic day was had by all!

We had our wedding here in May 2015 and had a fantastic evening. The venue has a wonderful atmosphere with two extra large open fires perfect for an autumn wedding. We didn't have to do much in terms of decorating as the venue itself looks great. It is set in wonderful grounds that lent itself to some beautiful photos - St Andrews Church next door is delightful. The staff on the night were fantastic and we got so many compliments from our guests about how great the food was - in fact some said it was the best wedding they had been to for food and venue! Would highly recommend The Stables if your are looking at it for a wedding venue - or if you just want a place to go to for lunch or dinner.
