Netherstowe House is a family-run, independent hotel and restaurant situated in the Cathedral City of Lichfield, Staffordshire. Originally built in 1180, the Grade II listed property began life as a water-powered mill and mill house, before being converted into domestic premises, and finally into a boutique hotel and restaurant owned by the Heathcote family.
Proprietors, The Heathcote family, have owned Netherstowe House for many years, initially as a family home, and latterly transforming it into the successful, thriving hotel and restaurant it is today. Fortunate to have travelled the world, sampling the very finest hospitality, our core purpose at Netherstowe House is to deliver sincere, five-star hospitality. Our passionate and dedicated team genuinely take great joy from all our guests being truly nourished and happy.
We are proud to be the only Staffordshire hotel listed in The Good Hotel Guide. Their inspectors found our boutique bedrooms to be ‘lovely, feminine, some with king-size bed and retro roll-top bath’.
