A building steeped in history, the New House Country Hotel has been providing excellence in hospitality since 1989.
The New House CountryHotel is a Grade II listed building, built in the 1730s by Thomas Lewis of Llanishen. It is believed that the New House started life as a hunting lodge. It opened as the Best Western Plus New House Country Hotel in 1989, and has been run by Julian Hitchcock and our dedicated team since 1994.
We have thirty-seven beautifully-restored ensuite bedrooms and host many events and occasions throughout the year. With open fires, exquisite furnishings and fully-equipped function suites, we offer countryside comfort in Cardiff, providing the perfect atmosphere for any visit or gathering.
A note to thank you very much to your team for all your hard work before and during our day to make our wedding so perfect! We had such a wonderful day! Everything was so perfect! Such a fantastic venue - BRILLIANT service. Thanks again, Lois and Trevor
