We’ve been holding wedding receptions for over 50 years, and offering civil weddings since 1995. Whatever type of wedding or wedding reception you would like, we have both the venue and the staff to provide the perfect environment for your perfect day.
For couples wishing to marry locally, either in a local Church or Registry Office, we offer a range of traditional receptions. We have three luxury reception suites, catering for as few as 12, to as many as 250. You can be assured that we have a venue perfectly suited to your requirements. The unique Art Deco Ballroom with its own bar and dance floor caters for up to 250 guests. The Concorde, Ripon & Wetherby rooms provide intimate venues for smaller receptions.
The Earl of Doncaster is licensed as an “Approved Premises” for a Civil Wedding Ceremony and we are allowed to hold Civil Ceremonies in the Concorde Suite, Ripon & Wetherby Suite and the Ballroom. A Civil ceremony must have no religious connotations, therefore any music or readings must be of a secular nature. A Civil Wedding room hire charge is applicable to cover the cost of our “Approved Premises” licence. An additional fee is payable to the local Registrar for the cost of your marriage and licence.
Doncaster Registry office & Elmfield Park are only a two minute walk away, so if you are getting married at the Registry Office or at the Hotel, the park is close by for all you wedding photographers needs.
