Situated on a private country estate amongst 550-acres of rolling green fields, our venue is completely exclusive to you and your guests.
Our 3-day wedding option is perfect for those wanting to extend their celebrations, giving you and your guests the opportunity to relax and fully immerse yourself in the idyllic Northumberland countryside. With accommodation merely a stone’s throw away and exclusively yours for two nights, we have all the ingredients for making sure you have a stress-free wedding.
Our 1-day wedding option provides a more traditional choice of celebrating your wedding in a single day, without compromising the outstanding beauty and impeccable service our venue has to offer.

Yes, there is an entrance outside ‘The Forge’ which then leads to The Cart Shed.
No, the wedding venue and cottages are exclusive to you and your wedding party from day 1 to day 3.
Yes, there is an outdoor area which is perfect for reception drinks. This area is great for lighting the fire pits after your ceremony and wedding breakfast.
Only alcohol purchased from The Turnbull Bar (our venue bar) may be consumed within the venue and its local vicinity ie the area around the venue.
Our bar can serve beverages from 11am until 2am.
Yes, pets are allowed in all of the cottages and the venue. We do ask that all dogs are kept on a lead as we are surrounded by livestock.
You can start to set up from 1pm on your arrival day. For Monday weddings please speak to your wedding co-ordinator to gain an accurate access time.
For Three-Day Weddings you can have access to the venue from 1pm and the cottages from 3pm.
For One-Day Weddings you can have access to the venue and the bridal suite from 1pm, ceremonies can be held from 3pm.
There are no noise restrictions within the great barn as the room is sound proofed and is 500 yards from the cottages.
3pm on your arrival day and we ask you to vacate by 10am on your departure day. Monday weddings please speak to your wedding co-ordinator regarding cottage arrival times.
Yes, ‘The Hayloft’ has been revamped into a modern bridal suite which is located 200 yards from the great barn.
