Davy's at Canary Wharf lends itself brilliantly to all kinds of events with two bars, three different eating areas and a tasting room which make it perfect for weddings, and outside there’s plenty of heated seating.
We serve a delicious dining mix of traditional British favourites and seasonal dishes using the freshest of ingredients, and there’s a grazing menu with smaller plates and sharing boards. Our Executive Chef Sean Davies sources fresh, seasonal and quality ingredients from a number of trusted local suppliers.
Drinks include an impressive list of wines, premium spirits and craft beers. All our wines are supplied by Davy’s wine merchants and selected by James Davy and the wine buying team.
Woooow what a fantastic restaurant, we hired out the Tasting room. The staff was amazing, Nori who helped with all the decorations and service, Simona for her help in hiring the room, and Daniel for his help too, all our guests were very happy and they're still talking about how nice the food was and how great the service is. We will definitely be having food and parties there again.
I was very pleased with the staff's attitude and the entire event.
The food was tasty and huge portions, staff were very helpful and understanding, they catered for our exact needs and were checking on us to see if everything is fine. I would like to acknowledge especially Laszlo P. who was looking after us in a very professional manner. Very good service.
We booked this venue for our wedding.
We were looking at venues to hold our wedding party. We walked around the bar on with its decor and views over the water and thought we really like this.
The venue closes on a Saturday so you have the place to yourself for a minimum spend.
As soon as we mentioned that we were looking for somewhere for our wedding, we were sat down by the lovely Simona, she treated us really well and is another reason we thought this is the place, its beautiful, on the water and they have lovely staff. The staff are definitely part of the reason we picked this place. They were very flexible on our DJ and many requests of adding a few Portuguese and Jamaican add on’s to the menu to reflect our parentage.
Over the next few months we spoke with Simona and met her a handful of times, tried the food and everything was sorted out and it was like having a really helpful wedding planner really helping you out, she really is a credit to the company. She dealt with my many emails.
We met the manager the day before the wedding, Andrew I think, who was also amazing the day before and all the day of the wedding.
On the day, it all ran amazingly, the staff were all amazing, really nice, the food was lovely, thank you chef. We had a really good party where we danced all night (or at least until closing). Even the doorman was making sure the children were ok, very sweet !
No one had any complaints, only compliments on how lovely the venue was, how amazing the food was. People have said they had never thought of doing their party in this way, family members were a bit apprehensive, they usually rent a hall but they thought what we did with this venue was brilliant.
Definitely the best party ever!
Amazing time in this cozy gem. It's quiet compared to the bigger chain bars in Canary Wharf but the service is more personal here and staff are lovely.
Quite trendy yet retains a very pub like atmosphere, quite large venue too. The staff are friendly and the bar food worth the money. An especially charming venue during the summer.
