The beautifully restored ship lies in the heart of Bristol's harbourside. Launched in 1843 toto carry the rich and famous to New York, as the world's first luxury ocean liner, Brunel's ss Great Britain is a truly unique venue for your wedding ceremony and reception. 

At just under 100 meters in length, Brunel's ss Great Britain was the world's largest ship when she was launched. Her size is beguiling, her saloons and decks expansive and each one uniquely shaped. One the evening of your special day the ship and all her wonderful rooms are open for you and your guests to enjoy - all to yourselves.

We invite prospective couples to attend Brunel’s ss Great Britain’s Wedding Showcase on Thursday 13th October between 6pm and 8pm, for a chance to view one of the most unique and romantic venues in the region.

Our dedicated Wedding Coordinators will be available to discuss all the options for your special day. You can then explore this impressive venue, including the elegant  First Class Dining Saloon; the sunlit Promenade Deck, and the stunning views on the Weather Deck.

We will be offering tasters of canapés and Champagne, and a small selection of top suppliers and professionals will be on hand to provide samples and advice to showcase their services.
