Katy & Co Wedding Photography

We hired Katy for three hours to capture our small registry wedding in Edinburgh along with a marquee hog roast at the family home after. It was a very last minute affair to decide on getting a professional photographer but Katy was so lovely as soon as we got in touch. She responded promptly, was very efficient and organised a meet up so we could get to know her a little better before the day. I'm so glad we got her because the moments go by so quickly that you don't have time to capture them and it's wonderful to just relax and be in them rather than worry about taking photos! The photos she took were gorgeous, really making the most of the light (considering it was raining all day I have no idea how she did it) and they are a wonderful reminder of our day. Thank you! We are now back from our honeymoon and just wanted to say a big thank you for all of your work on our wedding day! We had a really great time and thought you guys were brilliant throughout. Katy and Wayne were the perfect photographers – relaxed, professional and knowledgeable. They went out of their way and did lots of pre-site visits. Thank you Katy and Wayne for the wonderful wedding photos! We’ve gone through them all after getting back from the honeymoon, and it was amazing to get to re-live the day through your beautiful images. We really love your documentary style, and your incredible eye for composition, especially among the many spectacular sights that Kew Gardens had to offer. In spite of periodic rain showers and the timing not always going according to plan, you both were cool and calm, and made sure that we got all the images we wanted. We’re just having trouble now deciding which photos to display at home, we love so many of them!

Katy and Wayne were extremely easy to get along with. It was great to be able to brief them a task and have them get on with it, with little stress or additional input from our side. Before the big day, they scouted the venue for photo shoot sites and the choices were awesome, exactly what we had asked for – not too cheesy! On the day, our wedding was quite large for a usual English wedding but this was handled with ease. There were a few ‘obstacles’ thrown in the way on the day but again this was dealt with professionally and with little stress for my wife and I. The thing that I think would really set Katy and Co apart from others has been their aftercare. The presentation of the photos was gorgeous and the continued interaction and help has been great. I would certainly recommend the team to any of my friends.

We were drawn to Katy’s portfolio when we found it online and were so happy that she could travel to Oxfordshire. She is incredibly creative and worked with us to come up with original ideas. We are really overwhelmed with the result, our day was captured perfectly and brought a massive smile to our faces when we received the images. We will cherish them for a lifetime.
