My shop and studio are based in Hessle. The shop offers you the opportunity to pop in and view my portfolios and products and to get a feel for my work. The shop and studio has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, where we can discuss your requirements over a coffee.
Photography is my passion and I'm delighted that I have also been able to make it my career. My style of working is informal and relaxed, working with clients to get the best from them. I aim to capture a little of the spirit and emotion of those in front of my lens. I believe that one of the greatest skills a photographer needs is the art of communication, to listen to your client, to find out what they want or to help them decide what they want and maybe introduce them to new ideas.
When photographing a wedding, I follow the natural flow of the day, from the excitement of the preparations, through the emotions of the ceremony and onto the enjoyment of the celebrations. My aim is to capture more than a bride and groom, I look for the moments that define them and their relationship. I work with the wedding party so that they feel at ease and enjoy having their photographs taken. My ability to communicate with people provides me with opportunities for wonderful images.
