Jon Daly Photography

Jon is a dear family friend, so when it came to our wedding, there was no second question whom our photographer would be. This also made for a more informal, relaxed feel when getting our photos taken, we shared some great jokes and Jon was able to get some really nice shots. Jon was really great at catching the moment as well, we got some fantastic fast shots of us dancing and he was very talented in airbrushing the background. By the time we returned from our honeymoon our photographs were ready, with photo books for us, Sam's parents and mine.

I cannot recommend Jon Daly highly enough. I can't stand having my photo taken, so I was a challenging subject! I think this is probably a common situation: although you are looking your best, a natural reluctance and awkwardness in front of the camera doesn't go away. The skill of your photographer and the rapport you have is absolutely essential to ensuring you have a fabulous record of your big day. Jon made me feel very confident and comfortable. He makes a point of getting to know the bride and groom well, he takes a great deal of time to understand you, your wedding style, the venue, your taste and importantly; how you want your day to be recorded. Jon doesn't impose his style on you; he takes the time to understand your style and ensure you have photos that you'll be happy with and that reflect you as a couple. Jon also takes the time to understand the dynamics of your event, family and friends. Jon has a great sense of fun and is very creative, his experience means you can rest assured that whatever the weather and whatever happens on your big day: you'll have gorgeous photos to go with the memories!

Jon is amazingly good, I have know him for a long time as he has taken many photographs of my family and daughter and it was obvious that I would have him capture my special day. Jon made sure to ask what types of photographs we wanted on the day so he knew what we were looking for. He met us at our wedding venue as well to get an idea of the layout and pre plan, so when it came to the day he was able to snap away without us spending too much time away from our family and friends. He was so organised in directing everyone and got a bit of everything from the day, which he then presented all in a photo book for us.

Absolutely fantastic photographer - Jon captured some beautiful shots of our guests laughing and having fun as well as lovely more formal shots. He was a joy to have at the wedding and made everyone feel so relaxed, and it really shows in our photographs. Highly recommend.
