OVERVIEW
SJ is a country, pop, soul singer songwriter based in Cambridge.
SJ has plenty of experience playing at function events and Weddings, accompanying herself on guitar and piano. She plays classic hits through the years, from 50s to modern day. She has played at prestigious venues such as Hard Rock Cafe, Ronnie Scott's, The Savoy and Grosvenor Hotel in London, as well as abroad in Europe in Switzerland, Italy, Spain & Portugal, and in Nashville, TN as well as Shanghai, China. She headlined the Den stage at Cambridge Folk Festival last Summer and frequently performs across England.
She is also an up-and-coming songwriter, and recorded her debut album in Nashville, TN which was released December 2015 on iTunes and Amazon 'Nashville Sessions'. Songs from her album have been played on BBC Introducing. Since returning back to the UK she has formed her own backing band SJ & The Flying Pigs; with new EP 'Fireball'.
SJ is available to book for your wedding as a solo act, duo, trio, or full 8 piece backing band. Instruments ranging from acoustic guitar, fiddle, banjo and drums.
