As an artist or anyone who works in the styling industry, it’s important to keep up with ever changing trends and brands on the market. As with fashion, Seasons change and so do looks therefore it’s important, as a good MUA – you keep up! Because of this, I try to do master classes every Year and this Year is no exception.
I work with many make-up brands including MAC, Bobbi Brow, Dior, Nars and Art Deco (to name a few) but I do work ALOT with Illamasqua. A brand, I feel is ideal for every event from bridal through to party. I have used Illamasqua in my kit for the best part of 5 Years now, and for me, it’s a brand that always delivers longevity of wear. As with everything, it’s not suitable for everyone but I feel suitable for most, especially if you’re the kind of person who likes to make an impact and not shy of colour.
I have already attended various master classes in Newcastle, Birmingham and Leeds, most recently their ‘Mixology’ class in Leeds – amazing and will be using what I’ve learnt for more shoots and more of my creative work booked in for this Year.
