Mike Green, owner of Greens Catering, is a very well known and experienced party and event caterer. Before setting up Greens, Mike worked for 21 years in event catering as a Head Chef and latterly as Executive Chef for Touch of Taste. After a company take over, Mike decided to use his years of experience to create his own very individual, personable, yet ultra - professional, forward thinking event-catering business.
Greens Catering operate from purpose built, 5 star rated fully equipped professional kitchens in Oxfordshire and are still using much of the same events team that Mike has built over the years.
Mike's time at Touch of Taste saw him cater for Richard Branson's Virgin Staff party for 38000 spread over two weekends, as well as a refined fine dining event for 200 at The Fast Track 100 Dinner.
Working closely with Peregrine Armstrong - Jones at Bentley's Entertainments a world renowned party planner, has been a particular highlight, as well as literally getting the 'thumbs up' from HRH the Queen at a lunch for the opening of The Diamond Light Project at Harwell.
With a passion for food and countless wedding breakfasts, canap� receptions, large corporate events, hog roasts and barbecues under his belt, Mike has a vast amount of knowledge to assist in the smooth running of any event.
