The Finishing Touch based in Gedling, Nottingham are a family run business with over 90 years experience in the cake and sugar craft industry specialising in making cakes for weddings, birthdays, Christmas, special occasions and novelty cakes.
The Finishing Touch supply made to order cakes in any size and shape. Cakes can be made in a range of different flavours including carrot, chocolate, plain, eggless cakes and gluten free cakes. We offer free delivery and set up on all wedding cakes, all other cakes are made on a collection basis only. We can even ice and decorate your own cake if you wish.
You do not have to keep to tradition when choosing your cake. Have your cake designed to suit you. Cupcakes, Individual miniature wedding cakes, Royal iced, Belgian chocolate, the limits are endless. All our cakes are individually designed and not mass produced. We can supply cake bases in both fresh sponge or ready made fruit cakes.
Please not that all cakes take time to create and decorate, so please allow a minimum of 1 week for all cake orders. Wedding cakes may take longer, so please allow more time. Please feel free to contact us for advice and help on any of our cakes and services. We can advise you on the best type of cake to bake and we can even hire you cake tins if you don’t have any.
