There is no reason why your marriage ceremony cannot be as unique as you are.
At the moment you can only legally marry in a place that has the appropriate licence - or you have to pay for one. If you choose a celebrant to perform your marriage or civil partnership ceremony, you can almost hold it anywhere - without a licence. So, your own back garden, the beach or half way up a mountain are all suddenly possibilities!
Unfortunately the law still states that the legal part still has to be undertaken by a religious minister or a registrar, but we are hoping for a change in the law very soon. The legal bit, however, need only take 10 minutes then you can move onto have the ceremony that YOU want - not a one size fits all standard that is currently on offer from the alternatives.
I will work closely with you to make sure your ceremony is exactly what you want - music, readings, poems or special ceremonies such as hand fasting or unity candle are all available for you.
I will be happy to send you a copy of my marriage menu for you to look over and we can arrange a no charge initial consultation to discuss the options in detail. Renewing vows is much more popular today as a way of couples re-affirming their commitment to each other.
I will help make this a truly unique and personal experience for each couple.
