Your wedding will be one of the most emotional and magical moments of your life. It’s a chance to share your love with friends and family ? and celebrate your relationship in a way that’s special to you.

By asking me to write a bespoke ceremony and vows for you, you can choose whatever wording you prefer, and include details of how you met and what you love most about each other. As a professional writer and editor with over 25 years’ experience and three bestselling books to my name, I pride myself on writing very personal ceremonies that include meaningful rituals and readings to ensure your special occasion is every bit as unique as your relationship. I love working with same-sex couples, and couples of all faiths or none. My package also includes a rehearsal on the day of your wedding so that we can iron out any glitches before the actual ceremony (and as I'm also a highly qualified hypnotherapist, I can help calm any wedding-day nerves).

If you’re married by a celebrant rather than in a church, there’s no obligation to include religious references, and unlike a Humanist or registrar-conducted ceremony you’re free to include hymns or religious readings. What's more, as the ceremony isn’t legally binding, your venue doesn’t need to be licensed, so you can choose whatever beautiful location you prefer.

As a member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants, I conduct ceremonies in London, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and Sussex within a one-hour drive of Croydon. I can also conduct ceremonies further afield and abroad: fees depend on the location and travelling time.

I hold a Certificate in Marriage & Family Celebrancy from the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants and a first-class BA English degree. I worked as a journalist on Cosmopolitan and Zest magazines and am Contributing Editor on Women’s Running magazine. I've had numerous articles published in the national press (The Independent, The Guardian, Prima, Psychologies & RED) and am an accomplished public speaker (Vitality Show, Be:FIT, The National Running Show).
