Manchester Art Gallery

Manchester Art Gallery is a beautiful and unforgettable setting for weddings and civil ceremonies, the galleries and artworks provide a backdrop for photographs which is second to none.

Ceremonies are held amongst the atmospheric Mancunian paintings by Lowry and Valette in Gallery 16 providing a unique and exclusive setting for you and your guests. Following the ceremony, your wedding celebrations will begin with drinks in the romantic Pre-Raphaelite Galleries. Dining and dancing will then take place in the modern setting of the glass Atrium until the early hours. It is possible to dine in the stunning Victorian galleries where up to 80 guests may be accommodated.

Our catering options are very flexible too. Choose from our range of three course dinners, baked sharing dishes and buffets, or work with our executive chef to create your own bespoke menu. Our focus is on fresh food that is grown locally, ethically and sustainably, with most of our produce coming from within 30 miles of Manchester City Centre.
